As his immune system is down, the poor Squatteur has several major health problems!

1. His immune defenses are down...

Squatteur is an 18 years old cat, positive to FIV (feline AIDS). This disease destroys his immune system, making him very vulnerable to viruses, infections and other health problems.

2. His paw pads are damaged!

Squatteur has pododermatitis: his paw pads are swollen and cracked. This rare condition is very painful. Putting his paws on the ground and walking has become a source of pain for poor Squatter.

3. He accumulates viruses

Squatteur has a chronic coryza and calicivirus: he drools, his eyes are watery and he is tired. It is very exhausting for him, because it does not pass!

4. With canned food, he could take medicine to get better

Wet canned food would be perfect for Squatteur to take his medication. We could crush pills in his food bowl. He could also take advantage of it to get his strength back.

5. Money to care for free cats is running out...

We feed almost 600 free cats. Many of them are sick with coryza, or affected by parasites. Unfortunately, the veterinary costs for care and interventions are piling up... We don't have enough money left to buy food and blankets for the street cats!
