Sneezing, thinness, runny eyes: Witty has coryza!

1. He is really very sick...

Witty is a young cat of about 6 months, that we found on a feeding location. The poor guy has a very bad coryza: his eyes are watering, he sneezes and he is very skinny (you can feel his bones when you pet him!). So we put him under treatment with inhalations, hoping that his condition improves...

2. He may have urinary problems!

Witty drinks a lot and urinates constantly. As he has only been with us for a few days, we don't know if it's a one-time or chronic problem. We'll have to do some blood tests to find out what's wrong!

3. Canned food would help him get stronger while staying well hydrated

Wet canned food would be perfect for Witty to eat without becoming dehydrated. It would also be a chance for him to fill up on daily vitamins, so he could gain back some weight.

4. The number of cats is constantly increasing...

Lately, we have been picking up new cats in critical condition from a feeding location (most are skinny and sick). Because of the abandonments, we are still recovering more cats than we are giving up for adoption. Our expenses are increasing, but our food supply is decreasing...
