1. Due to an injury, his health is weakened...

Baltique is a 10 year old horse, who was beaten and injured during a race. The tendons in his left front leg were damaged and are still in a state of disrepair because he did not receive proper care. He even developed arthritis over his old injury.

He can no longer be ridden and remains fragile. The ordeals he has suffered (abuse, neglect) have also made him lose confidence.

2. Pellets would allow him to regain confidence and keep his condition.

In his situation, a loss of mass would be disabling for Baltique. He will therefore need a rich food like pellets to gain strength. Such an appetizing food would also be the occasion to weave a link with him, to help him to regain trust in the human being.

3. Unexpected expenses put us in a very precarious situation!

Hunters have chased a horde of wild boars on our land, leading to the destruction of nearly 6 km of fence! We are going to have to redo everything, by financing the fence ourselves...

But with 14 horses to take care of and many other expenses to manage, we don't have any budget left ! Winter is here, there is no more grass and we can't afford to buy hay. Without help with pellets, we don't know how we'll manage!
