1. A malformation causes her to have difficulty moving...

Pepsy is a 21 year old mare, who has a birth defect: one of her tendons is severed. This difference causes her to have a limp which complicates her daily life...

2. She is losing the sight in one eye!

Probably following an injury caused by a branch, Pepsy has started to have a black spot in her eye that is getting bigger and bigger. She is therefore losing her sight in one eye.

Not very comfortable in the herd, she does not dare to approach the others out of fear of getting hit. It is difficult for her to eat in these conditions!

3. Pellets would allow her to gain strength before winter

To get through the daily hassles, Pepsy will need to stay in shape, especially with the winter coming. Pellets would give her all the vitamins she needs to get through the winter, despite her disabilities.

4. Unexpected expenses put us in a very precarious situation!

Some hunters have chased a horde of wild boars on our land, leading to the destruction of nearly 6 km of fence! We are going to have to redo everything, by financing the fence ourselves...

But with 14 horses to take care of and many other expenses to manage, we don't have any budget left ! Winter is here, there is no more grass and we can't afford to buy hay. Without help with pellets, we don't know how we'll manage!
