1. A cancer has weakened him a lot...

Coto is a cat of about 16 years old, suffering from ear cancer. In spite of the care, his organism is considerably weakened by this ordeal.

2. Because of a leg deformity, he has difficulty moving around.

Coto is forced to walk on his elbows, because his legs are malformed. This makes it very difficult for him to move around. He can neither climb nor jump...

3. He has only one tooth left!

With time, Coto has progressively lost all his teeth. Today, he has only one tooth left. It's not enough to chew, so it's hard for him to eat...

4. With adapted canned food, he could eat again without difficulty

Easy-to-ingest canned food would allow Coto to regain his strength without having to chew. Food that is also high in protein would give him the energy he needs to keep going, despite his disability and cancer!

5. The costs are exuberant!

About 60 free cats rely on us to feed them. It doesn't look like it, but that represents nearly 6,800 euros of food per year! On top of this budget, there are veterinary expenses...

Unfortunately, things are not going to get any better: in 2020, the veterinarian was closed and no longer provided sterilizations. So we find ourselves today with many extra cats... For a small association like ours, it's too much to manage!
