Belle's leg was rotting, so it had to be amputated: since then, she has to live with a handicap...

1. She has only three legs...

Belle is a cat of more than 16 years old, that we found with a disarticulated and broken front leg. As it was starting to necrose and there was no hope for it to get better, the vet had to amputate it.

2. She lives outside!

Since then, Belle lives outside, with only three legs. It's quite a handicap on a daily basis. Moving around, feeding herself, avoiding dangers... everything is more difficult! Especially considering her age.

3. With canned food, she could take strength to hold in the daily life

Rich in vitamins canned food would help Belle to meet her daily energy needs. This would give her the strength she needs to get through the rough patches, despite her disability!

4. The costs are exuberant!

About 60 free cats rely on us to feed them. It doesn't look like it, but it represents nearly 6,800 euros of food per year! On top of this budget, there are veterinary expenses...

Unfortunately, things are not going to get any better: in 2020, the veterinarian was closed and no longer provided sterilizations. So we find ourselves today with many extra cats... For a small association like ours, it's too much to manage!
