After 10 years spent outside, poor Akou has no teeth...

1. He has no teeth left...

Akou is a ten year old cat who has lived outside all his life. Today, he sleeps in a shed, in the cold...

He's been through a lot, and with time, his teeth have fallen out. So he can't chew at all.

2. To survive this winter, he will need fleece blankets

As he gets older, Akou's resistance to the cold decreases. Fleece blankets would be perfect to help him keep his body heat. It would be a real comfort for him!

3. Cats are more numerous but donations are down!

This year, we put up nearly 200 cats for adoption... that's twice as many as last year! So our food needs for the time the cats are with us have doubled.

Unfortunately, donations have not kept up and have decreased significantly. So we have to finance most of our actions by our own means. But feeding the 30 foster cats and the 90 free cats who rely on us is way beyond our means!
