Tom is a cat that his owners have abandoned. The poor cat was left to fend for himself, while he is severely affected by stomatitis. His mouth and teeth are so painful that he can no longer eat, despite the medication...

2. His immune defenses are ineffective!

Tom unfortunately has feline AIDS. His immune system does not protect him enough against viruses and infections. That's why he doesn't get better.

3. With canned food, he could regain his strength more easily
