Amputation of her hind legs, neurological problems: Flo's accident left her in bad shape!

1. She was dragged by the neck by a car!

Flo is 2 years old, she was dragged by the neck by a car, it broke both her back legs. We rescued her from Romania and when we got her, she still had her back legs but they were sticking out, they were fused in a U shape. It was an awful sight... She has been amputated of both her back legs since.

2. Canned food will help her regain strength

The accident left her with a lot of neurological problems, she has a very short memory, she is nearly blind, we think dementia is getting to her even though she is so young... She's a happy girl now that she's with us but she's still a vulnerable little pup. Canned food will help her gain some comfort and help her regain some strength.

3. Vet bills are destroying us!

Many of our dogs have handicaps and illnesses that require life long treatments, special medication, attention and care. With 22 special needs dogs out of a total of 40, our vet bills are incredibly high! Food-wise, we used to receive pallets of wet food from the UK but ever since Brexit, that help has now ceased. We need some help providing wet food for our dogs!
