Poor Sally has a disease that keeps her in lying down 90% of the time!

1. She has been left abandoned!

Sally is a 25 year old Shetland pony, who was abandoned for more than 5 years in a meadow.

As her feet have not been maintained for years, they have become deformed. In particular, she has a displacement of the phalanges in the two front hooves, which handicaps her greatly.

2. She suffers from a hormonal disease...

To make matters worse, Sally has Cushing's disease. She has a lot of lunging and has to lie down 90% of the time because her feet are so inflamed.

3. Pellets would help her gain strength

To get her strength back despite the difficulties, Sally will need pellets. A diet rich in vitamins would help her to fill up with energy, so that she would have less difficulty getting through the ordeal.

4. We have 250 animals to manage!
