1. Her puppies were killed with a stick!

Jana is a 7-year-old dog, who was found wandering in the streets of Reunion Island. She had just given birth to her puppies, who were then killed by children with sticks...

Since then, Jana is traumatized, and does not let herself approach. It will take time for her to regain her confidence.

2. She has liver and stomach problems...

Jana has developed liver problems because she had to eat wrong things in the past to survive. Since she often couldn't eat enough, she tends to eat too fast and vomit... Not to mention all the ulcers she has in her stomach, which don't help.

3. With canned food, she could regain her strength without vomiting

To regain her confidence in life and get back on track, Jana will need a quality diet. Nutrient-rich canned food would help her get back on track. Such appetizing food would bring her comfort, which she has sorely lacked until now...

4. Veterinary fees are a barrier...

We recently had almost 1,500 euros in veterinary expenses. Buying food has become complicated. Collecting food in stores does not work: between Covid and the financial crisis, people have no more money to give.

However, we can't give up: dogs we take in count on us. Soon we will have to take in animals from Ukraine. We have to keep going!
