Poor Patou has a huge open wound on his back!

1. An abscess burst, leaving a gaping wound in the middle of his back...

Patou is a street cat, who probably got into a fight. We were called a few days ago to rescue him.

The poor thing has indeed a big abscess which burst in the back. He is therefore left with a huge wound. He will be taken care of by the veterinarian, who will probably give him an antibiotic treatment after having made sutures.

2. To rest comfortably, blankets would be precious for him

In order for his wound to heal more easily without the risk of infection, Patou will need to rest on a clean place. With blankets that we would change regularly, he could be comfortable until he gets better.

3. We pay for almost everything ourselves!

We feed about 20 free-roaming cats at various feeding stations. To provide for their needs in food and blankets, we need funds, but donations are down.

For the past two years, we have not been able to organize events as we used to do, to raise money. We now have to finance everything ourselves... which will not be possible forever!
