1. She suffers from a serious disease...

Iris is a 3 year-old-cat, that we took in because her shelter was overcrowded. After blood tests, she tested positive for feline infectious peritonitis.

This is a serious viral disease, which can be fatal. The main symptom that Iris is suffering from at the moment is that she can't gain weight. She is only 3 pounds!

2. Canned food would give her all the nutrients she needs

To stay in shape despite her illness, Iris will need a complete diet. Canned food rich in vitamins and proteins would give her strength, and help her get through the day.

3. We can't keep up!

Between vet bills and all the cats we have to feed, our budget goes up quickly... but we can't always keep up! Especially since there are more and more kittens that will also need help.
