Blind following a stroke, Guitte did not manage to return to the shelter and got lost!

1. She became blind and got lost because of a stroke...

Guitte is a 20-year-old cat, who disappeared for a week. After 7 days, we finally heard a cat crying in a hedge not far from there... it was Guitte! The poor thing had become blind following a stroke, and couldn't find her way home... She will now have to get used to living with this new handicap.

2. To regain her strength after this sad mishap, she will need canned food

After this terrible ordeal, Guitte will have to learn to live without seeing anything. She will have to mobilize all her resources! A highly nutritious food like canned food would be a great help to her. Suitable for older cats, this food would be perfect for her.

3. Providing for cats' needs is far from easy!

Our association takes care of 15 horses and about 30 cats. The only income we have comes from the sponsorship of horses. As for cats, the situation is complicated at the moment: many are old and have serious health problems. The veterinary expenses are therefore particularly high!
