Fillette is a 10-year-old cat, who is FIV positive. Concretely, her immune defenses are destroyed little by little, exposing her to all viruses.
She has caught chlamydia and coryza. She coughs, her eyes are constantly watering and her nose is caught.
In the past, Fillette also had calicivirus. Her gums were so inflamed, that all her teeth had to be removed to relieve her. Since then, she has been doing better, but she can't chew anymore.
With age, Fillette has developed osteoarthritis in a very advanced stage. As a result, she is experiencing joint discomfort and pain, which is becoming more and more disabling.
To get through her old age more serenely, Fillette would need some highly nutritious canned food. Quality food that's easy to ingest would make her life easier, and perhaps help to alleviate her troubles.
With about 40 cats to feed, our food stocks are going very fast. So we have to mix quality canned food with discount canned food, to manage to keep going... but it won't be enough for long!
