Left abandoned, poor Nicky was eaten away by vermin and covered with abscesses and tumors!

1. She was left abandoned, in a catastrophic state...

Nicki is a 13-year-old dog, that we took in after the death of her owner. For 5 years, she was in a garden, without anyone really taking care of her.

When we found her, her claws were starting to turn, she was eaten by parasites and her liver was a mess! The poor thing was also completely hungry and thirsty...

2. She was covered with abscesses and tumors

Nicki was also covered with infected wounds and tumors. She has been with us for a month and is on antibiotics and pain medication. She also has glaucoma in her eye: this chronic disease could lead to her losing her sight on one side!

3. She doesn't have many teeth left!

Without proper care and feeding, Nicky held on as best she could. Unfortunately, her teeth are in very bad shape: she has almost no teeth left.

4. With canned food, she could get her energy back

Easy to ingest, high quality food like the cans would allow Nicki to finally eat her fill. Every day, she would be able to regain her strength back without fear, which would be a great comfort to her!

5. People can't donate anymore...

In the last few weeks, we have had a series of emergencies. The veterinary expenses are considerable... We tried to make appeals for donations, but with the crisis, people are impacted. They don't have the means to help us anymore!
