Jupiter is a free cat, that we trapped to have him neutered. The vet then realized that he was FIV positive.
This disease, also called "feline AIDS", progressively destroys his immune system. To prevent him from infecting his peers, we placed him in a foster home.
Jupiter unfortunately has big ulcers in his mouth. To relieve him, we will probably have to extract his teeth. He will not be able to chew anymore!
To survive with his health concerns, Jupiter is going to need a lot of rest. With blankets, he could have a comfortable place to sleep.
At the beginning of the year, we had a lot of veterinary expenses. But donations are still low: this is a time when people are looking to save money. However, the 200 cats that rely on us need help now!
