Veronique is a 16-year-old cat, who was found in a garden by an elderly couple. She unfortunately suffers from a heart murmur, which makes her very fragile at her age.
With age, Veronique has more and more difficulty chewing, because she is missing teeth and the ones she has left are damaged. She would need a scaling, but we are afraid that her heart can't bear the anesthesia...
Canned food adapted to senior cats would be better for Veronique than kibbles. She would be able to lap them up, and would not need to chew anymore. It would be easier for her to refuel every day, without any risk for her health.
Many of the cats we feed are elderly and need special care and feeding. Unfortunately, veterinary food goes out very quickly, and we don't have enough money to buy more...
