Rusla is a dog who was found on the island of Réunion, with a part of her tail necrotic. We don't know how it happened, but she was suffering a lot. The lesions being irreversible, she had to be amputated.
Now that she is starting to get better, we are going to bring her to France, to a foster family that will take good care of her.
Still vulnerable, Rusla is likely to be weakened by the winter temperatures once she arrives in France. Fleece blankets would help her to keep her body warm, while she acclimatizes.
Our association takes care of dogs in distress in Reunion Island. We fly them to France, where they are placed in foster homes while waiting to be adopted.
Last year alone, we were able to repatriate and adopt 430 dogs. While waiting for their new home, all these animals need bedding and blankets, as they are not used to the temperatures in our latitudes. Your help would be very precious to us!
