Dehydrated and very sick, poor Selma had to be put on oxygen!

1. A virus led her to be hospitalized...

Selma is a 3-month-old female kitten, who was completely dehydrated, with a big coryza. The virus had descended on her lungs, preventing her from breathing normally.

She was therefore hospitalized for several days, and put on oxygen. She also received injections, and must now take a treatment in tablet form.

2. Canned food would make it easier for her to take her medication

Moist, palatable canned food would help Selma take her medication daily. It would also give her a chance to replenish her vitamins, so she could gradually recover.

3. There are many drop-outs!

Right now, it's really hard. There are so many abandoned cats, that we have not been able to take in new cats for the past 15 days. We are currently taking care of 45 kittens, and about 40 adults...

Many of them are sick, which means so many vet and care expenses. And as it is summer, people are on vacations and do not think of making donations or adopting.
