1. His immune defenses are no longer effective to protect him...

Pompon is a one-and-a-half year old cat that we have been caring for since he was a baby. Unfortunately, he has been tested FIV positive: carrier of the AIDS of cats, he saw his immune defenses reduced little by little to nothing. A benign health problem for other cats is immediately very serious for him...

2. He has several wounds that have degenerated into abscesses!

Pompon had two large abscesses that became purulent. He needed five stitches! He also has two other wounds, for which he is still in care.

3. He has difficulty breathing

Pompon has a lot of trouble breathing normally. His breathing is noisy, and produces a kind of permanent rattle.

4. In order to get his strength back, he will need canned food

To cope with all these health problems that are draining his energy, Pompon will need a complete diet. Cans of protein-rich food would give him the nutritional support he needs to get through the difficulties as best he can.

5. The situation has become critical...

After a calm period, we have entered the kitten birth season. We are receiving calls all day long to take in new kittens... Despite the few donations we have received, our food stocks are in sharp decline. In a short time, we will have nothing left to feed them!
