When Poupette's owner died, nobody wanted her... she risked euthanasia!

1. She found herself all alone!

Poupette is a cat of about 13 years old, whose owner unfortunately passed away. When she died, her children did not want Poupette. So we took her in, to avoid euthanasia.

2. Pain in the mouth prevents her from eating...

Poupette has probably a calicivirus or a gingivitis, because she seems to have a lot of pain in her mouth. It's so painful that she can't eat normally!

3. Blankets would keep her warm

Until we know more about her condition, blankets would keep Poupette warm. At her age, it's harder to keep her body warm, and she's more likely to get sick.

4. It's not the time of year, but we already have a lot of kittens!

Between the street cats and their kittens, we have a lot to do. Pregnant, unspayed cats have been abandoned to us... so we've ended up with a lot of kittens, in addition to the 30 or so free cats we currently feed!
