1. She has skin problems...

Elie is a 30-year-old pony, who was in danger of being euthanized or abandoned. So we took her in. Unfortunately, she has dermatitis: her hair falls out in patches and she scratches her head a lot. It is stressful for her!

2. She has trouble walking!

Over time, Elie has developed a lot of arthritis. The joint pain makes it very difficult for her to move around!

3. With pellets, she could regain her strength

A quality diet like pellets would be precious for Elie. It would be an opportunity for her to regain her energy and perhaps reduce her skin problems a little.

4. We had a large unexpected rescue!

We had to do a big rescue of 12 horses not long ago. With the 40 or so equines (donkeys, horses, ponies) that we were already taking care of, it's starting to be a lot... it's becoming difficult to find the finances to care for and feed them all!
