Paralyzed by joint problems, Dana was about to be euthanized!

1. Her owner wanted to have her euthanized because she could not walk anymore...

Dana is a-14-year-old dog who was abandoned last year. As she could hardly walk anymore because of arthritis, her owner wanted to have her euthanized. The vet refused, so Dana was left behind.

Since then, we have been taking care of her. With the right treatment, Dana is able to walk again!

2. She has liver problems!

Dana is suffering from severe liver damage: her liver is no longer functioning properly. To avoid making things worse, she absolutely needs a grain-free diet.

3. The right canned food will help keep her healthy

A wet diet like canned food would help Dana take her osteoarthritis treatment more easily. Without grains, this food would be the most beneficial for her body.

4. 137 animals need us!

Between abandonments and hot weather, we have even more animals than before. Currently, 117 dogs and about 20 cats are counting on us. Food supplies are running out fast! The sickest ones are going to need special canned food quickly...
