1. She was in bad shape...

Katia is a 17-year-old mare, who has lived her whole life attached in the middle of scrap metal. She came to us with many wounds and scars. She was also very skinny and muscle-free, because of staying static.

2. A supplementation in pellets would allow her to continue to gain weight

Katia is starting to get better, but in order for her to keep her condition for a long time, she would need to be supplemented with pellets. Such a rich and qualitative diet would give her everything she needs to be in good shape.

3. The return of the drought may put us in trouble...

Currently, we have 18 animals to manage. This may not seem like much, but their food needs are substantial. With summer, the grass may be lacking. We will then need pellets to keep the horses going!
