Nymphéa is a 27-year-old pony that we took in 2 years ago. Because of osteoarthritis and an old shoulder fracture, she limps. Generally speaking, it has become complicated for her to move around.
When she arrived, Nymphéa was expecting a baby. This late gestation made her lose a lot of weight: she was skeletal!
Nymphéa has regained weight, but in order for her to maintain her condition despite her age, she would need to be supplemented with pellets. Such a rich and qualitative diet would provide her with everything she needs to spend her old age serenely.
Currently, we have 18 animals to manage. This may not seem like much, but their food needs are substantial. With summer, the grass may be lacking. We will then need pellets to keep the horses going!
