Considered too old, Doudoune was going to be killed...

1. She was going to be slaughtered...

Doudoune is a twenty-six-year-old donkey who was going to be taken to the slaughterhouse. She was considered too old and that's why she was going to be killed. So we took her in to take care of her.

2. Her feet are damaged!

Doudoune's feet are in very bad shape. We can see that she has lacked care and maintenance, as her hooves had not been looked after for a while!

3. Pellets would help her remain in a good shape

At her age, Doudoune needs to eat well not to lose weight. Complete pellets would be perfect for her to stay in good condition and help her age peacefully.

4. The grass in the meadows is completely dried out...

We are facing delivery problems. The delays are very long and our stocks are currently at zero... Despite this situation, we had to take care of 5 donkeys in emergency. Without grass in the meadows, we don't know how we are going to hold on!
