1. She doesn't have a single tooth left!

Violette is a 10 years old dog, who arrived when she was only a puppy from a shelter in Serbia. There, her only food was soaked bread... She lost her teeth very early, because this food was not adapted for her at all! With age, she also developed arthritis...

2. She has a worm in her heart!

Wherever she was, Violette got heartworm disease. This disease is caused by the presence of a worm in the heart. In spite of a treatment, Violette will keep heart problems and will be fragile until the end of her life!

3. Quality canned food would help her keep her strength up

To stay healthy despite all her health concerns, Violet will need a rich, easy-to-eat diet. Canned food would allow her to finally benefit from a food adapted to her needs!

4. Caring for senior dogs is very expensive...

We are going to have to slow down on new rescues, as we are already taking care of nearly 120 dogs, most of them elderly and sick.

With the veterinary expenses piling up, it is becoming really complicated to do more... For the moment, we are at 50 000 euros of care bills per year!
