1. She was injured and abandoned...

Félicie is a 15 year old dog, who was thrown from a car in front of our shelter's gate. Severely injured by the fall and the impact, she could not move!

She is just starting to walk again, but because she has osteoarthritis and a heart condition, she may never really recover...

2. She was in a bad state !

When she arrived, Felicia was particularly skinny. She had no hair left in some places, because she was eaten by vermin... Her teeth were also very damaged, which made it difficult for her to chew.

3. Canned food would help her gain weight

A complete diet such as canned food would be a great help for Félicie to regain a normal weight. She could ingest them without difficulty, despite the condition of her teeth. It would be an opportunity for her to regain some energy, and to live her old age more serenely.

4. Taking care of elderly dogs is very expensive...

We are going to have to slow down on new rescues, because we are already taking care of almost 120 dogs, most of them old and sick.

With the veterinary expenses that are accumulating, it becomes really complicated to do more... For the moment, we are at 50 000 euros of care bills per year!
