Bénéton is a 16 year old cat, who was losing weight and hair around his eyes. After a blood test, it turns out that he has kidney failure. His kidneys are no longer performing their elimination function properly, so his body is weakened and vulnerable.

2. With the right canned food, he could gain weight

Canned food specially adapted for kidney failure would be perfect for Bénéton. By not overloading his kidneys, such a diet would help him regain weight and stay well hydrated.
