Fragile at the pulmonary level, Beaugosse needs a special diet!

1. He needs to be supplemented otherwise he has deficiencies...

Beaugosse is an 11 year old pony, that we saved from the slaughterhouse when he was only 4 months old. Weaned too early and brutally, he has kept a fragile health, and tends to make deficiencies.

2. He has lung problems!

Beaugosse has emphysema. He has a tendency to cough and tachycardia. Because of these health problems, hay is not suitable for him because it contains too much micro-dust.

3. Pellets would help keep him going

To stay in shape, Beaugosse needs to be supplemented. Since we don't have any grass in the meadows, pellets would be very valuable for him. They would give him all the vitamins he needs, without the risk of making him cough.

4. Drought hits us hard!

We have been suffering from drought episodes for several years. The horses are on hay all year long, because there is no grass outside. The most vulnerable ones need to be supplemented, but we don't have the financial means to buy them pellets!
