Faro had to be hospitalized and operated on urgently!

1. He was going to be killed...

Faro is a former trotter of 6 years old. As he was not fast enough for the race, his breeder had put him to slaughter! Fortunately, we were able to take care of him.

2. Severely injured, he had to be hospitalized urgently!

Last year, Faro was hit by another horse. Because he got an infection in his bone (septic arthritis), he had to be hospitalized and operated on urgently. This was followed by several long months of convalescence...

3. Pellets would help him to get back on track

To help Faro recover from everything that happened to him, we would need pellets. Such a rich and palatable food would allow him to regain his strength, to get back to a better general shape.

4. Drought hits us hard!

We have been suffering from drought episodes for several years. The horses are on hay all year long, because there is no grass outside. The most vulnerable ones need to be supplemented, but we don't have the financial means to buy them pellets!
