Fanny is traumatized by her past...

1. She suffers from a serious respiratory disease...

Fanny is a 13 years old mare, who arrived from a horse-dealer. She has strangles, a very contagious respiratory disease that can be fatal. We had to give her antibiotics to help her get better.

2. She is traumatized!

We don't know exactly what Fanny went through before she came to us, but she seems very traumatized. She never allows herself to be touched, we only manage to get close to her...

3. Pellets could help her to regain confidence

Until she is completely recovered, Fanny will need a rich diet to replenish her vitamins. At the same time, pellets would be an opportunity for her to see that we are caring, and that she can trust us.

4. Drought hits us hard!

We have been suffering from drought for several years. The horses are on hay all year long, because there is no grass outside. The most vulnerable ones need to be supplemented, but we don't have the financial means to buy them pellets!
