Théa is a 5 weeks old kitten, that a lady found on the road before giving her to us. The poor thing was very skinny and covered with fleas and ticks!
Because of a malformation of the jaw and an abscess in the mouth, poor Théa cannot close her mouth. Removing one or two teeth could potentially help her, but this will only be possible when she gets her permanent teeth. In the meantime, she has great difficulty chewing...
A wet food like canned food would be easier for Théa to ingest than kibble. It would be an opportunity for her to gain weight and to continue her growth more serenely, while waiting for a possible operation of the teeth.
We currently have a lot of older kittens to manage, which are less easily available for adoption. At the same time, the in stores collections have not resumed and the donations are decreasing... We are afraid that the decrease in purchasing power will last and prevent people from helping us!
