1. In France, Ghislaine is out of kibble to feed the 220 street cats she cares for... The poor cats are in danger of starving to death!

"I'm the only one in charge of feeding 220 street cats, spread over 18 feeding sites. The task is colossal, and has become much more difficult recently: I have no more kibble to provide for all these cats!

My appeals for donations have gone unanswered. I'm trying to feed the cats pasta, but I won't last long this way and neither will they. They are starting to look for food elsewhere, in unsafe places... While looking for food, three cats were poisoned last month! Two of them unfortunately did not survive..."

2. Lacking financial resources, the association is unable to cope with the growing number of street cats!

"The current situation means that people can no longer afford their own animals. There have been a lot of abandonments in the last few months, it's horrible! Unfortunately, I don't receive any help or subsidies. I had to pay a lot of veterinary costs out of my own pocket and I got into debt.

With only 490 euros a month to live on, I can't manage all these street cats. Even at the lower end of the market, bags of kibble are getting more and more expensive. The cost of living is increasing and I have no money left, I really can't do more. Nothing will be possible without your help!"

3. Old Van Gogh is skinny and disoriented, he will not survive the lack of kibble for much longer!

"Van Gogh is a very old free-roaming cat who has been living in a car park for a long time. With age, the poor thing has lost a lot of weight and is starting to lose his mind because of moments of absence.

He often starts crying because he is lost... If we don't have anything to feed him anymore, he may put himself in danger and get lost for good while looking for food. He will become skeletal and won't be able to make it."

4. Ghislaine is not asking for money, only kibble to prevent the street cats from starving.

"To look after the cats, I start in the morning at 7 a.m. and I'm there until noon every day. It's physically demanding, because I have health issues and still have to do everything on foot.

My family has turned their backs on me and most people are not sympathetic to my cause. I'm struggling to help these cats, because I'm all they have... but it can't go on, I need support!"
