As Muck gets older, his teeth become more and more damaged: it has become almost impossible for him to chew!

1. Muck is very old and has a lot of trouble eating...

Muck is a 30 year old donkey, that we took in to avoid the slaughterhouse. With his age, he lives in slow motion and cannot go to the pasture at all. His teeth are in such a state that they don't even allow him to chew anymore!

2. Moistened pellets would allow him to continue to gain strength

Rich food like pellets would be perfect to give Muck the energy he needs. We could moisten them for him, so he won't have any trouble ingesting them!

3. We don't have the means!

We have a number of older horses that can no longer go to the pasture. They need pellets, but this is too expensive... Similarly, some cats in poor health need special food and blankets. Unfortunately, we don't have the means for all that!
