Victim of a stroke, Mabelle has lost weight and her eyesight is deteriorating!

1. She was mistreated...

Mabelle is a cat of about 14 years old, who was recovered by the firemen after being mistreated. She has remained very shy and does not let herself be stroked.

2. A stroke has left her with after-effects!

About a year ago, Mabelle had a stroke. Since then, she has started to suffer from visual blindness: she can no longer see what is under her nose. She also has a tendency to lose her balance and stagger.

3. She has lost weight because of inflammation in her mouth

Mabelle has inflammation in her mouth. Because it is painful, she has trouble chewing and is losing weight.

4. Canned food would help her to regain her strength easily

An easy-to-eat food like canned food would be perfect for Mabelle. She could use it to get her strength back without being in pain. It would be an opportunity for her to gain weight!

5. Care is very expensive!

Of the 350 cats we manage, we have had many sick cats, which has resulted in many expenses. There are also a number of aging cats who need to be cared for. So care is a big expense!
