Poor Théo is suffering from lung problems!

1. He has emphysema...

Théo is a donkey of about 26 years old, that we took in 12 years ago, to avoid the slaughterhouse. The poor guy has emphysema, and often has crises during which he coughs and has difficulty to breathe. He is therefore treated with cortisone, but he also needs a special diet.

2. Humidified pellets would help to replenish his energy

A rich diet like pellets would be perfect to help Théo regain his strength. We could moisten them for him, so that he doesn't have any risk of absorbing dust that could trigger an attack when he eats.

3. We lack the means!

We have a number of older horses that can no longer go out to pasture. They need pellets, but this is too expensive... Similarly, some cats in poor health need special food and blankets. Unfortunately, we don't have the means for all that!
