Gingivitis, coryza, kidney problems: poor Chinkara has a lot of health problems!

1. Kidney problems knock her out!

Chinkara is a 13 year old cat with kidney failure. Her kidneys are no longer functioning properly, which makes her body very tired.

2. She is missing teeth due to gingivitis...

Chinkara had a lot of inflammation in her gums. The veterinarian therefore removed part of his teeth to reduce the inflammation. Chewing is now complicated for her, because she has only some teeth left...

3. She suffers from a virus that comes back chronically

Chinkara has a chronically recurring coryza. This makes her even more tired, because the virus doesn't go away, in spite of the basic treatment to reinforce her immunity and the curative treatment to reduce her symptoms.

4. Canned food would give her some energy

Easy to ingest and rich in protein, canned food would be a great help to Chinkara. They would help her regain her strength and be in better shape to face her health concerns.

5. Care is very expensive!

Of the 350 cats we manage, we have had many sick cats, which has resulted in many costs. There are also a number of aging cats who need to be cared for. So care is a big expense!
