Shaggy hair, weight loss: Fidji has cushing's syndrome and was going to the slaughterhouse...

1. She has cushing's disease...

Fidji is a 30 years old mare, that we saved from the slaughterhouse. She suffers from cushing's syndrome: her hair is shaggy and she has lost a lot of weight.

2. She has no teeth left!

With age, Fidji started to lose her teeth. Today, she has none left! Impossible for her to chew now.

3. Pellets would help her regain her condition

Rich in vitamins and very nutritious, pellets could be a great help to Fidji. It would be an opportunity to keep her in good condition and then to allow her to gradually gain weight. We will moisten them for her, so that she can ingest them without difficulty.

4. The abandonments do not stop!

At the moment, there is an upsurge of abandonments. We have to count an average of three calls per day for new rescues... Most of these animals need a special diet, which we unfortunately do not have the means to finance.
