Visually impaired in her left eye and not used to pen life, Utah needs to be supplemented!

1. She tends to lose condition since she is in a park...

Utah is a 20 year old mare, whose owner could no longer financially care for her. Utah used to run away on the road and was used to living in the wild.

Since we took her in, she has been in a enclosure with other horses. We feed her hay, but this change in lifestyle has caused her to lose some condition.

2. She has very poor vision in one eye!

Utah is very visually impaired in her left eye. This is a handicap and a hindrance to her daily life.

3. Pellets would help her keep her condition

A vitamin-rich diet like pellets would help Utah keep fit. It would be an opportunity for her to stop losing weight, and to enjoy her new life.

4. We are having a tough year!

We have more and more requests for rescues. The costs are increasing because we are running out of grass and we have to buy food for the horses. It is not an easy year!
