Roxie is a 2 years old dog, that we took in following a report. She was living on the balcony of an apartment, tied up and muzzled all the time. She was also beaten, which left her very fearful...

2. She is very skinny!

Because she couldn't exercise, Roxie lost a lot of muscle mass. She was also undernourished, and weighed only 20 kilos when we took her in !

3. With canned food, she could continue to gain weight

With a rich, high-quality diet like canned food, Roxie could eat her fill. This would be an opportunity for her to continue to gain strength, to put her past behind her for good.
