Beaten and chained in the past, poor Yugo will keep heavy after-effects for life!

1. He has suffered all kinds of abuse...

Yugo is a 5 year old dog, whom we took in before he went to the pound to be euthanized. The poor guy has been chained and beaten for years.

He has scars everywhere, and his neck is so broken that he can't lower his head or open his jaw normally...

2. He remains very afraid!

Yugo also keeps psychological after-effects: he is permanently terrorized and does not let himself be pet. Even if he is still young, it is thus complicated to find a family able to show enough patience and benevolence to help him.

3. Canned food would allow him to eat without too much difficulty

An easy to ingest food would help Yugo to gain strength daily, despite his neck and jaw injuries. This food would also be very appetizing and comforting to him, and would help us to show him that we are caring.

4. Our association is making new rescues again, despite the difficulties...

We have had many deaths of older dogs lately. The change of season has not helped, and has made the situation even more complicated.

At the same time, we are being asked from everywhere and have resumed the rescues. Without subsidies and with such high veterinary costs, the situation may not get any better... But we can't close our eyes to animal suffering!
