1. He is the butt of the other cats...

Fidèle is a 6 years old cat, who is deaf. Because of this handicap, he can't hear the other cats coming towards him... So the poor guy often gets clawed!

2. Two viruses knock him out!

Affected by a big coryza, Fidèle has the nose very blocked and runny eyes. He also has a calicivirus: the inside of his mouth is all inflamed, which causes him pain at the time of eating.

The vet removed some of his teeth to reduce the inflammation, but since then Fidèle can't chew his food well.

3. Canned food of moist, palatable food would make his life easier

To make eating easier again, Fidèle would need canned food that are easy to swallow and palatable. With this type of wet diet, he could once again fill up on energy with peace of mind!

4. We have too many expenses to handle alone...

Caring for sick and elderly cats involves care that is expensive. Unfortunately, we didn't really have any donations this year. Paying all the vet bills and food with our own money is no longer possible...
