Deemed useless, Blanco risked being shot...

1. He was about to leave for the slaughterhouse...

Blanco is a 9 months old billy goat, coming from a cheese factory. As the males are judged useless, they often end up being slaughtered... Fortunately, we were able to take Blanco in, to avoid such a fate.

2. He did not grow at a normal pace!

Since he was separated from his mother at a very early age, Blanco had to be bottle-fed. Lack of colostrum made him weak and did not allow him to grow normally.

3. Pellets would help him finish his growth

To gain strength, Blanco would need to be supplemented with pellets. This would allow him to fill up on good nutrients, and maybe even catch up on his growth!

4. We are completely out of pellets...

Big expenses are coming for the association, because we will have to rebuild the wooden pens. With a hundred animals and no more food in stock, the situation will become very tense!
