Separated too young from his mother, Danette has a growth delay!

1. He was about to leave for the slaughterhouse...

Danette is a 5 months old billy goat, coming from a cheese factory. As the males are judged useless there, they often end up being slaughtered... Fortunately, we were able to take Danette in, to avoid such a fate.

2. He did not grow at a normal pace!

As he was separated from his mother very early, Danette had to be bottle-fed. Lack of colostrum weakened him, and did not allow him to grow normally.

3. Pellets would help him to finish his growth

In order to gain strength, Danette would need to be supplemented with pellets. He could then fill up with good nutrients, and maybe even catch up with his growth delay!

4. We are completely out of pellets...

Big expenses are coming for the association, because we will have to rebuild the wooden pens. With a hundred animals and no more food in stock, the situation will become very tense !
