1. An injury to her tendon did not heal well...

Pepsy is a 20 year old mare, who had her tendon severed when she was young. Unfortunately, the injury did not heal well at the time. Since then, she limps and moves very little. She has a tendency to lose weight and has lost weight this winter.

2. Pellets would help her regain her condition

To regain weight and then maintain it, Pepsy would need to be supplemented. Pellets would provide her with a complete and balanced diet, ideal for staying healthy despite her age.

3. Unexpected expenses put the association in a bind!

We were supposed to have financial support for a recent rescue, but the people finally backed out. So we have to pay 2 000 euros of veterinary expenses... Between that, the drought of this summer and the rain of this winter, the financial situation of the association is far from being in good shape!
