Harold has cancer and has also been abused... we would like to give him the sweetest possible old age!

1. He was abused...

Harold is a 12 years old dog, that we took in this summer. He was previously on the island of Reunion. Unfortunately, he was mistreated and had his back broken because he was so badly beaten...

2. He suffers from an inoperable cancer!

Harold has cancer of the adrenal gland. No operation is possible, so he is on morphine. Because of the disease, he has lost a lot of hair.

3. He has a weak heart.

Harold has heartworm disease, a disease caused by a worm in his heart. He tends to be short of breath because his treatment has been stopped due to his cancer.

4. Adapted canned food would help him regain his strength

With dog food designed for dogs his age, Harold could get his energy back on a daily basis. It would be a source of comfort for him, bringing him sweetness in his old age.

5. It's a shame...

The possibility of receiving unsold kibble for the dogs of our association has just fallen through. With the prices that have increased and the impossibility to find certain products in the stores, we don't know how we will be able to feed all our animals. So we have been forced once again to stop new rescues...
