Unwanted bending of the hind legs, stress... Nuage suffers from Harper's disease!

1. An illness weakens him physically and psychologically...

Nuage is a 21 years old horse, that we took in after the death of his owner. He is unfortunately often stressed, and has problems with his hind legs.

His hind legs tend to bend involuntarily, which is disabling for him. We are therefore in the process of giving him a treatment to alleviate his problems.

2. Pellets would help him maintain his condition

Because of his illness, Nuage tends to lose weight. With regular supplementation with pellets, he would be assured of being able to regain his condition and stay in shape.

3. We are still paying the consequences of last summer's drought!

We are paying the consequences of last summer's drought as our hay supplies are now at an all-time low. At the same time, there are many incoming requests for intake and abandonment of horses.

About twenty horses are currently managed by the association (without counting those in foster care). Donations are far from being enough to get us out of this situation!
