Declining condition, damaged vertebrae, lameness... Caly needs to be supplemented!

1. She is in bad shape!

Caly is a 23 years old mare, reformed from club. She came to us 6 months ago, in the middle of a heat wave. Her back is damaged, especially her vertebrae. She limps, and weakened a lot because of the passage to the meadow (she was used to be in a box).

2. Pellets would help her regain weight

In order to regain her strength and weight, Caly will need pellets. Such a supplementation could only be good for her, and help her to get back to a better shape.

3. We are still paying the consequences of last summer's drought!

We are paying the consequences of last summer's drought as our hay supplies are now at an all-time low. At the same time, there are many incoming requests for intake and abandonment of horses.

About twenty horses are currently managed by the association (without counting those in foster care). Donations are far from being enough to get us out of this situation!
